Are you planning to apply to U.S. universities and begin your studies in Fall 2026? The SAM program is here to guide you every step of the way! This free mentoring program from EducationUSA Ukraine pairs motivated Ukrainian students with current U.S. college students who will support you throughout the application process. Your mentor will answer your questions, help you stay on track with your application tasks, and share insights based on their own experience of studying at a U.S. college or university—many of them with scholarships! You’ll also have a great opportunity to practice your English and get additional support and resources from EducationUSA advisers.

Eligibility criteria:

Ukrainian citizenship
Currently finishing 10th grade (entering 11th grade in Fall 2025) OR a recent high school graduate not yet enrolled in any university
Planning to apply for undergraduate studies in the U.S. for Fall 2026 enrollment
Minimum English proficiency level of B2
Completion of the online course "Твій шлях до навчання в США" available here: https://educationusa.org.ua/online-cources/

(The course takes up to 3 hours to complete. A certificate of completion is required as part of your application.)

Selection process:

The selection will take place in two stages: review of application forms and a short interview.
Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, so you can expect to hear back within a few days after submitting your application.

Application Form for Successful Admission Mentor (SAM) Program

⚠️ Important: The application form cannot be saved and continued later, so it must be completed in one sitting.
We recommend writing your essay answers in a separate document first, then pasting them into the form to avoid losing your progress.

To apply for the SAM program, you first need to complete the online course “Твій шлях до навчання в США”. The course takes up to three hours. After passing the final test, you’ll receive a certificate. If you don't see your name on certificate, please clear browser cache and try again.
